Humanitarian Center Tour

I have an amazing aunt who is always coming up with things for our family to do to get together. Her latest she planned a trip to the LDS humanitarian center. I have always wanted to go and see it but never got there & I didn't know that you can bring kids on the tour.
These are bails of clothes waiting to be sorted to take to other countries. Each bail weighs 1000 lbs. There were piles and piles of clothes to be sorted and piles that were wrapped and ready to be sent off to those in need.
Here is where we learned about all the other things they make & buy like childrens toys, school bags, hygiene kits, medical supplies, wheel chairs and ect. The map in the background had dots of all the countries that had been sent aid & almost every country was marked.
We then watched a movie that showed people in different areas that received aid. I truly was touched during this tour and felt the spirit of the gospel so strongly. I am so grateful to be a part of something so wonderful. I was also grateful my children had the experience and were able to think outside of themselves for a minute. I want to be more committed to doing my part to help in this effort. It's unbelievable the aid that is given by the church. When the movie was over Kelbi said "I want to do dat again".
We hit the local Sizzler afterward for dinner and had a fun visit with everyone.
Me and my cousin Wade.
My cousins son Ryker and Kelbi just loved eachother and were holding hands all through the parking lot as we left.
They got a few hugs in as well. What a great night to spend as a family.
