In our ward when a cub advances to the next group they get to find and eat 8 gummy bears out of a pie tin full of whipped cream as their right of passage. Conner advanced to be a Webelo last week which is sad for me because I no longer have him in my den.
I was not aware that Conner doesn't like whipped cream & although he was excited to do this he is trying not to puke in this picture.
Leave it to my kid to be plastered in the stuff.
Next step is passing through the cave as a bear
And coming out the other side as a Webelo
Our ward then takes their old bear neckerchief & then they receive the new Webelo neckerchief.

He is so happy to be with the majority of his friends now and be able to earn pins toward the Arrow of Light award. We are proud of him for his love of scouting and all of his efforts in his accomplishments.
