Cade went on his first Klondike camp out with the scouts a couple of weeks ago. They recorded a low of -10 degrees. I have to admit I didn't really want Cade to go on this one but he was all for it so off to the store I went to buy every kind of warmer there was and a major sleeping bag. I tried to get him to bring 2 blankets and he wouldn't so we know who learned a lesson there don't we. Anyway all in all he had so much fun sledding and enjoying the company of boys who felt like "real men". I will never understand the male race but hey whatever makes them happy.

This is so funny, I love that you took pictures of them before they left. The funny thing is that my boys gave Cade a hard time about how much he packed because he had about the same amount as the two of them. I was worried about them all night long. I didn't realize it was that cold though.
The joys of boys, Derrek can't wait until he can do those things. To me that is just plain insanity. Boys will be boys!
