Last weekend our friends the Beck's invited us along with two other friends and their families to come up and spend the weekend in their newly built cabin. We couldn't decide whether to go or not because Cade had been having respiratory problems and Kelbi had a fever (big surprise I know) but the Beck's had a sick daughter and we just decided they could be sick there just as well as home. We drove up there in a huge storm and Coby kept telling us that it was so cool we were driving warp speed like star wars and that made it kind of funny inspite of the 20mph road conditions. Their cabin was absolutely beautiful and each family was able to have their own room. The kids ran themselves crazy playing games, guns, legos, Xbox, and sledding. The adults had a great time watching movies, playing games, sledding, wheeling, chatting, playing pool and eating ourselves sick. We ended having to go home Sunday morning because Kelbi was really sick with fever and in pain. We took her to instacare and they cathed her thinking she had a kidney or bladder infection but they turned out clean and two days later her fever was gone....big mystery. Anyway we had a lovely weekend and it made winter seem fun again so a big thank you to the Becks. It is so nice to have such great friends.
