Every year around Valentine's I try to do the good mom thing and make sugar cookies with the kids. Coby cut out the cookies this year and did a really good job. Poor Cade had to go to scouts but they went swimming and he loved it. I love watching my kids just go to town frosting their cookies and being able to see just how crazy it gets and how proud of them they are. This year Coby and Conner made a cookie for each family member and made sure it was custom made to fit what they thought the person would like and I thought that was so sweet of them in-spite of their sister trying to grab everything they were using. This is one activity that takes some motivation for me but I feel like a great mom every time I do it.

We did the same thing yesterday. I don't know why I didn't think to take pictures. Lots of messy fun! You are a good mom!
I love doing this every Valentines too. Sugar cookies are one of my favorites.
