Conner turns 11

Conner had his birthday last week & boy did he ever have a party! Conner is Mister popular, he is considerate to everyone and never wants anyone left out or their feelings hurt. When it came to making his list he just couldn't leave anybody out, since I knew it wasn't about presents but about feelings I let him invite everybody....so 16 were invited and that many came! Also his friend Jackson from Spanish Fork came Friday night to sleep over.
Conner knew exactly what he wanted which was a big sports party with concession food for half time.

They played a serious game of basketball with the exception of Kelbi riding her bike through them with her costume wings on...ya we had to put a stop to that.

He wanted basketball cupcakes

Nachos and hot dogs....yes grilled and then wrapped in foil like you would have at a game.
Chris in the background hiding the said wings from before.

Oh yes and lets not forget the power aid in a cooler with ice.

The boys had a blast trying to tackle Cade during football it took about 3 to 4 of them to get him down.

Foot ball game

Chris was just one of the boys as well.

Next we broke out the dodge balls and had us a game

Then we opened presents! Conner got completely spoiled with presents and money.

Kelbi was feeling a bit left out so daddy had to sit on the floor and have cake and ice cream with just her.

For their goody to take home Conner wanted to play the candy bar game. I went and bought 82 full size candies and baggies of gummy sharks, worms, gum, you name it we had it. The boys sat in a big circle and we had 3 bowls with 2 dice in each going around, if they rolled an 11 or double they got to take a candy bar and put it in their paper lunch sack or they could ask someone for a specific candy and if the person had it then they were in luck and if not then no candy. We played until the candy was gone & it was intense but really fun!
We thought this shot was so funny of Kelbi putting her own helmet on. Later that night we went to Wingers restaurant....Conner's choice with Chris mom, and we had a great time! Conner said that this was the best party ever! We are so lucky to have him, he really has such a sweet spirit. It's so hard to watch your kids grow up when you know you aren't going to have anymore, I want to bottle them at their ages.....well maybe not Cade at his age lets go back to ya like 11.
