Arrow Of Light!

Conner and his good friend Hayden earned the arrow of light award last week, this is the highest cub scout award that you can earn. The arrow of light is one of only 2 awards that you can wear on your boy scout uniform. The other is the religious knot which Conner will earn next month.

Conner went through a whole ceremony where they put different colors of paint put on by different people to represent various meanings. This is the cubmaster putting on the first color, wish I could remember what they represented

Conner's Webelos leader putting on the next.

Next Chris and I put on a color and after that his new scout master put on the last one.
Finished!

Conner then pinned on my mother's pin. Chris has the next pictures on his phone I'll have to get later, but Conner got to sign our wooden troop bridge then walk over the top & receive an arrow with different colored string to represent each award he has earned. On the other side of the bridge was his new scout master with a T-shirt and hat for his new scout troop. Conner has always been so good to go to scout s and complete the things he needs to for his awards. We are really proud of him for working so hard. We are really not proud of our terrible camera that we still need to replace.
