Chris' dad lives about 4 hours away so we don't get to see him very often. This year he has been in a bishopric, reffing games, and working with kids that have special needs for his job. Anyway we haven't been able to see him as much. He made a special trip up here this weekend to see the family. Conner is beaming and giving Grandpa a hug after getting his birthday present.
Kelbi decided that Grandpa was her best friend ever and was attached to him like velcro. He spoiled her with a weasel toy that chases a ball around...it's pretty funny to watch her. We managed to talk Grandpa Mike into sleeping over at our crazy house and the kids were so excited! Cade went and made his room look like a hotel room. He forgot to put extra blankets in so I bet Grandpa froze to death. We really appreciated it because he helped watch Kelbi while Chris and I finished planting our trees.
Like I said she stuck to him like velcro. Last night he asked her if she wanted to come and play at his house some time and she said ya let me find my shoes. This morning when he left she started looking for her shoes and told Chris goodbye.
Coby amused him this morning with his rat! Grandpa actually petted the thing which is more than I can say for myself. Thanks for coming Grandpa we loved having you, come again soon! We plan to go see him in June or August and go see a play.

We loved having him over as well. It must be something about granddaughters because Olivia was the same way and wouldn't leave his side. I'm really wishing I would have gotten some pictures now!!
