Finally Something Living

After months of looking at dirt & sticker weeds it is so exciting to plant some trees and see something in your yard you actually want there. On Saturday we planted two fruitless flowering plum trees in the front & a Japanese Maple.

We also planted 2 fruitless flowering pear trees up top on the rock plateau

This is so exciting! We get our sod on Wednesday & I think we have lots of people coming to help us. I just can't wait and a big thank you to our neighbors next door who took us to a VERY crowded Costco to pick up our trees in their truck.
