Mesquite Bowl

Cade's football team went down to Mesquite in the middle of November to compete in a championship there. We had so much fun meeting up with all of the coaches and their families and any football players that wanted to and eat at different joints. Cade went and did some pool hopping at other hotels as well. We won second place in the tournament but we really should have gotten 1st. We were 3 yards from a touch down and they picked a bad play and didn't get the darn ball in but what fun to watch.

I love the pictures of them playing with the red rock in the background...just really neat to see.

Grandpa Mike and Bobby came down to watch a game with us which really was awesome of them to come show their support. The other neat thing was that our old Bishop was one of Cade's referees at every game and one of our good friends from Spanish Fork was working down there and surprised us by showing up to a game to watch Cade play to. Who would of thought we would have so much support clear down in Mesquite.
So we had a good hotel and the kids loved swimming but as far as places to eat in Mesquite...well that leaves little to be desired. One night we got so desperate we drove around until we found this Chinese joint that really ended up being good and they spoiled the kids rotten.

Love trips like these to add to the memory list for the kids.
