My two youngest boys think that bees are their pets and keep in mind we already have 3 real pets. They keep their bees and bee nests in a large boot size shoe box. To answer your question, yes I have tried to get rid of this and tell them no more only to find new boxes in my house and hiding in places I would not want them so I have now tried to just encourage them to not do this so as to keep the bees from being in my house. Conner tells me they like him and they are his pets. Well.....he went to show his friend a bee nest 2 days ago and got this cute little mug of a swollen up face. I've tried the killer bee threat amongst other things to stop this madness but oh well maybe this will finally be the last straw at convincing him that bees just aren't his friend.
He tells me there is no pain whatsoever but don't think I believe that for one second especially since it is burning hot to the touch and he has laid in bed most of the day.

Oh no, Sadie and Halen were doing the same thing with bees and I was trying hard to convince them that they were not pets, but all they kept saying was that Connor had pet bees. I am so glad you posted this because now I can say "I told you so"
