I took my kids to Lake Powell for the week and we had a blast. We ate many Otter Pops and had great camping food like Dutch Oven Chicken and Lake Powell Burritos. My Aunt Sally and Uncle Chuck came and also my cousin Jenny and her husband and cute little boy Ricker. I wish I had more pictures but I was having so much fun I forgot to take them. The boys caught three types of fish that they had never caught before a Walleye, Bass, and a huge Croppy and then they cooked them all up for a taste test (I passed on the testing) and the Croppy wins!!! Poor Chris had to stay home and work and I even missed our anniversary(what girl does that?) but he wanted us to go and have fun so we are going to make up the anniversary! So many of you ask "How do you leave your husband and go alone?" My answer is this, I have great memories of my childhood and if I didn't have to leave my husband and kids I would go back in a second and do it all again. So long story short Chris and I want the same for our kids and unless we want to live in a cardboard box that means I go alone and take my kids to give them as many experiences as I can. I wish I were at home with my husband at least a couple of times but in the end I feel that I have done something that my kids will remember forever, and then we come home and I love and appreciate my husband and they love their dad to pieces. Oh and he golfs his guts out while we are gone, so it works for all of us.

That looks like so much fun! I have had to leave Todd and take the kids by myself to various places too. You gotta do whatcha gotta do sometimes!
Whata woman! I agree even if you might want your hubby there, you still gotta live life.
Looks like you had tons of fun, despite being less one. It had to be worth it to get away.
I am jealous. I wish we would have went with you guys! Cute pictures. We need to get together soon, it has already been a month again!
Cute pictures Tandy! I hope you don't mind I'm on your blog. Can I add you on my friends list?
Those pictures bring back memories....I used to go to that same beach when I was growing up. It was always so much fun! Looks like you had a good time too:)
