Christmas Day 2010

Christmas Day was wonderfully quiet and relaxing this year complete with a 3 hour nap snuggling my husband and daughter.
For Kelbi it was the year of the doll house complete with all the furniture.

She was more than thrilled and still plays with this every day
I wrapped a present for Coby and Conner to share & put it under the tree December 1st, it drove them crazy all month. For sure it was the firs present they wanted to open...a butterfly and lady bug hatching kit which they will be able to receive the larvae and caterpillars in the spring.

Year of the rugged outdoors man for Cade, this is him opening his new waders for fishing on the Provo River.

Year of the Knex Roller Coaster for Coby and Halo Mega Bloks for Conner as well as Coby

Conner's main gift wish...The Pelican Drop Ship....oh the excitement! This is why we got a nap, the boys were building all day long quietly.

Oh ya! Wahoo!

A game we told Cade no way we would get and darn that Santa he gave in, Cade was totally shocked and yet another reason we got a lovely nap he was glued to the PS3 all day.

Coby was so excited to give me his gift he made, he took the camera and told me he would take pictures of me opening it...I guess he forgot about me. It is a totally cute little calendar for 2011. Also lets not forget the pirate ship he made me out of cardboard and painted.

Mr. Mature also got his first leather wallet...it was time.

Princess Kelbi in her new dress up.

Finished product!

K'nex roller coaster...now that was interesting! It said 9+ on the box so we knew it would stretch
Coby a bit but he is really good at building. Long story short it took dad 2 days to put this baby together and it had 147 steps in it....kind of anticlimactic to watch after that much work but Coby sure loves it!

Pelican Drop Ship all built! Took Conner until 4:30 to complete this one.

The thing Chris misses the most about Christmas without his family is the finger sandwiches and salads, so I decided that was what we were having for Christmas dinner. We invited Becca and her kids over since her husband was working. We had a great time.

The spread! Ya I don't know I must have thought I was feeding an army, we ate this for like 3 days until my family refused to eat it another day.

I loved Christmas this year, it truly was a beautiful special day!
