Chris came up with a wild crazy good idea to take the kids to Timp Cave a few days ago. So we woke them up @ 6:00am because it was a holiday here and headed up to the cave. Kelbi rode just like that the whole way up and down.
It only took about an hour for us to make the hike up to the cave & I was really surprised I thought it would take us longer. There were many beautiful views & really scary cliffs that you could easily fall off of if you weren't paying attention.
Views from inside the cave. The ranger asked if they wanted to know about caves, rocks, or stories and our group picked stories & he told them all kinds of legends and facts about how the cave was found and stories about the cave. The boys were absolutely fascinated.
There are seriously tight places in there, Chris came home with a goose egg on his head.

Ya they don't look near as peppy after. Time to walk back down can you tell how excited they were? We were down the canyon by 10:30 and it felt like lunch time to us so we hit Taco time for an early lunch then home for naps.

My parents used to take me to Timp Cave when we lived in UT decades ago. I haven't seen pictures of it in forever!
You guys are having so much fun! I wish we could have went camping with you, it looks like a blast. Love all the pictures. I am glad you always update!
