Cade's First Time at the Temple

Cade did his first baptisms for the dead last week. This poor boy has been waiting since July to do this, but with our move and all that went with it we hadn't done it yet. After trying to make schedules work we finally found a date that would work. I really wanted it to be us to take him to the temple for the first time. Naturally I ended up with the flu that day and was so disappointed that I couldn't go but we felt really strongly that we shouldn't put it off any longer. Thankfully my mom came and checked him out of school and took him to the roof restaurant for lunch which is where they took this picture from. Chris was able to do the baptisms and confirmations so it made for an extra special day. I'm so grateful for the blessings of the temple in our lives and that Cade is living worthy to be able to enter the house of the Lord. I hope to be able to take him to do them again very soon.
