"Cade Started Junior High Today"

What a hard day for me today! Cade went to his first day of junior high and I can't tell you how nervous that makes me. With the move falling through and our lives turned upside down Cade decided to leave the Charter school he was at and go to the public junior high. I am so scared for him to make friends but he's quite handsome and pretty nice so I think he'll do okay. Opening the locker was an adventure and they had him assigned to the 9th grade hall and thankfully we found out and had that changed for today.

He came home after school and said that it was nerve racking not to have tons of friends yet but he had a great day and is nervous but excited to go back on Thursday. Yes I'm giving a big sigh of relief............

"Chris' Birthday"

Chris turned...well we wont say but he had a birthday yesterday. Truthfully it wasn't the best birthday ever with Ortho appts., back to school day, my cousins wedding, and a house showing but we made the best of it anyway. Love this guy because he is so flexible and he gave us all our yearly blessings which I am so thankful for him and his priesthood that he holds.

We stopped by my mom and dad's new house and took a look. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures.

My cousin came up from San Diego and I had a great time catching up with him at the wedding.

"Lagoon 2009"

We went to Lagoon with the Beck's and my mom and drove up in the big 15 passenger van which is always an adventure in itself. The kids paired up great and we had a fabulous time in spite of the 95 degree weather. And I have always wanted one of those grilled corn on the cobs in pioneer village since I was a kid......well guess what? I'm an adult now and I bought myself one. Our kids are on the very last row in the tidal wave boat, I thought for sure little Coby would fly right out! Loved having you mom.

Stacy's purse was dripping water out of the bottom after this ride.....so funny to me Stacy!

"My Niece Jada's Party"

Jada turned two and we went for a party at my sister's house. We had pizza and another amazing cake made by my sister. My sister's in-laws live right across the street and they have the best yard ever! We did wiggle car races, swung from the big swing in the tree and lots of other fun stuff. Thanks for a fun night!

"Kelly's Grove"

We love to go up to Kelly's Grove every summer for a picnic and to play in the river. We went up with three families in our neighborhood. I didn't get many pictures of the boys because they were all over in the river collecting the rock roller bugs in the river. Kelbi was more than daring but she had a really fun time swimming.

"Day at Echo Reservoir"

One day we went with my parents to eat in Heber at the infamous train hamburger joint as we call it and then off to Echo reservoir to play for a bit. And by the way we brought home yet another pet lizard but I did put my foot down at 2.

"24th of July "

We did our annual trip to the parade with the Barrett's & ate a nice healthy breakfast of doughnuts, pull apart bread and muffins. The kids got a major stash of candy to take home also.

This is my friend Cora's mustang that she and her dad redid, it's a beauty!

We sit in the same nice shady spot every year! Later that evening we went to some friends for a barbecue and we had planned to go to the fireworks with my family but the weather was not so great so we watched them from our front porch but it was a lovely day.

Kelbi got into my lipstick and thought she was so beautiful. This whole makeup and shoe thing was something I was so excited to have a girl for but when they destroy your new tube of lipstick it's not so cute!
