Our durango has to be registered every November. I know what were we thinking? This summer before we went to fish lake I kept feeling like I needed new brakes. I called my dad and he said that he would be happy to change them for me but that they probably would be fine since I had my car inspected about 6 months ago. I decided I was nuts and didn't do it but I have still had that feeling ever since. Long story short I went to get the safety and emissions done on my car yesterday and Maintenance Mike looked at my brakes and said "Holy Crap" your brakes are soaked and gone. My brake line was loose and leaking and my brakes were so worn they were ruining the rotters. Needless to say that was a very fun expense at Christmas time but hopefully I wont be such an idiot next time when the spirit is shouting at me to please listen to the warning. I'll bet if I would have been a child I would have listened. I'm an idiot!

We had a similar experience, our brake line broke suddenly. Luckily, my husband listened to a prompting to go a different route home or we would have been in big trouble. SCARY! Gotta love those necessary expenses right before Christmas!
