This is Cade earning his activity badges and his Webelos Badge. The boys are lifted upside down to put the pin on their mother and then when they do an act of service they get to turn the pin right side up. So I got lots of help later on that night because they wanted those pins right side up! My boys are growing up so fast I can't believe it! These are good times and Chris and I know it!
Cade earned his Arrow of Light award which is the biggest award you can earn in Cubs. They have a huge ceremony where they paint the different tribe colors on their faces and they have a tepee and a bridge for them to cross and they receive different colored feathers to wear in a head dress that each represent something. It really takes a lot of work to receive this award and we are so proud of Cade for earning it. Now that he has earned it he and Chris get to go to Moab in June with the boy scouts and go white water river rafting and hiking, it should really be a lot of fun and a good bonding time.
Conner went to his first pack night as a cub scout today and he participated in his first flag ceremony and carried the flag in. He also was awarded his Bobcat Badge. He is so excited for scouting he can hardly control himself. We are really proud of you Conner!
